With over 20 years in the entertainment industry, Joel David Moore is an accomplished actor, director, producer and writer across both film and television.
Joel began his feature career starring opposite Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller in the hit film Dodgeball. Joel subsequently starred in numerous motion pictures and television shows, including the Fox picture Grandma's Boy, Fox’s hit TV series ‘Bones’, ABC’s ‘Forever’, a lead role in James Cameron’s Avatar, and a returning member of the cast in the upcoming Avatar sequels, notably the franchise’s most release Avatar: The Way of Water.
Joel began his directing career with the psychological-thriller Spiral (Anchor Bay), which won the Santa Barbara Film Festival. He went on to direct Youth In Oregon (Amazon Studios), with Frank Langella, Billy Crudup, Christina Applegate & Josh Lucas. Joel then wrote and directed Hide And Seek (CJ Entertainment) starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Jacinda Barrett and Joey Pantoliono. Most recently, Joel directed the highly anticipated film Some Other Woman starring Amanda Crew, Tom Felton, and Ashley Greene which premiered at the Mammoth Film Festival in 2023.
Rishi Bajaj is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Altai Capital Management, a technology, media, and entertainment-focused investment fund based in Newport Beach, California.
Rishi has invested in technology and telecommunications for over 20 years and has served on the boards of publicly traded technology companies, including most recently MobileIron, a software company headquartered in Mountain View California. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, Bajaj began his career in Morgan Stanley’s technology investment banking practice.
As the Co-founder and President of Balcony 9 Productions, Rishi has served as an executive producer of numerous films, including Some Other Woman starring Amanda Crew, Tom Felton, and Ashley Greene which premiered in 2023. In addition to working with Joel on Balcony 9’s creative vision and strategy, Rishi continues to utilize his two decades of investment experience helping the Balcony 9 team find a commercial and financial pathway for its diverse slate of projects. Rishi is most passionate about developing ambitious content that explores impactful social themes.
